I believe in providing care to patients in an individualized manner. While many orthopaedic injuries require surgery, most chronic conditions are treated with careful and judicious use of non-operative modalities including medication and rehabilitation.
Education is emphasized in my office. Patients are treated best when they are adequately informed about their condition. At each visit, we thoroughly evaluate your condition and your response to the prescribed treatment. We also discuss different therapeutic options, treatment algorithms, and ultimate goals in treatment for the future.
The desired goals for all patients are the restoration of pain-free mobility and the maintenance of the highest level of functioning possible. The accomplishment of these goals is controlled largely by specific patient variables. Therefore, my intervention is fine-tuned to fit each individual patient, according to their specific needs. _________________________________________
