Special areas of professional interest include automobile safety and ground transportation safety.
Achievements include education and experience in Genzyme Biosurgery's autologous cultured chondrocytes implantation and MosiacPlasty cartilage transplantation, both new surgical techniques which represent a breakthrough in the treatment and cure of focal arthritis in patients under the age of 50 and patients with a traumatic surface defect in the femoral condyle in association with an anterior cruciate ligament tear, common among athletes.
Community activities
I am involved in regional and local conservation issues. I am also a euphonium player and am an experienced craftsman in carpentry, building, pottery and hand-wrought sterling.

My four person staff is committed to giving you the best patient care possible. Each member of the staff is a professional with many years of experience in working with me in this practice. My staff and I work as a team for you - we are all here to answer any questions you may have. Here is a list of the staff, along with their titles:
Diane Kleist, PTII - Physical Therapist and Rehabilitation Director. Diane has been working with me for over 10 years. She is a 1969 graduate of Marquette University and has worked extensively in orthopaedics. She is experienced in manipulation techniques, with specialties in cervical and lumbar injuries, and is proficient at helping patients reach each of their rehabilitation goals.
Mary Champagne - Office Manager and Patient Accounts. Mary has been my office manager for over 20 years. She will arrange appointments for you as well as set up diagnostic testing. She will talk with you about how you were injured and what your thoughts are regarding your injury. She can help guide you through obtaining insurance referrals and preauthorizations. She will also be happy to assist you with billing or any other questions.
Pat Galloway - Medical Records/Billing. Pat can assist you with obtaining copies of your medical records and can help you with any other questions you may have regarding patient accounts and insurance billing.
Joanne Chisholm - Transcriptionist. Joanne transcribes all of my dictations. If you need special letters for your job or for other professionals, she can help you.
