My approach to treating patients

How do I want to be treated as a patient?

This is the fundamental thought on my mind as I meet each of my patients. As a former National and Olympic swimmer, I was a patient for a number of joint injuries. As such, I approach each patient with respect and the hope that I can identify the problem at hand, initiate a focused and successful treatment plan, and provide as much understanding of the problem/treatment/expectations for the patient as I can. This process takes time and effort that, I hope, the patient will appreciate and take comfort that I am providing them with medical care that reflects integrity, quality and caring.

This approach has garnered a reputation of honesty, quality and respect from various groups. As such, I have been asked to participate in the care of different professional athletic groups (ATP, PGA, LPGA, UFL, ECHL) in the Las Vegas/Henderson area. I have also volunteered my time with care of athletes through the USOC, USA Swimming, and USA Water Polo. Also, I've been fortunate to work with a number of physical therapists and athletic trainers in a coordinated approach to keep active people and athletes safe and participating.

As I continue to evaluate and learn newer and more effective techniques for the treatment of my patients, I feel it imperative to look at new technologies and techniques with a critical eye to make sure they are truly worthy and beneficial to my patient's welfare.

We have a highly trained staff that is assisted by office supervisors in making sure your medical needs are met.

We also have physical therapists and orthotics specialists working closely with us for your convenience and overall success of treatment. The groups involved offer quality and personal care.

When coming to my practice, if you have had previous treatment or diagnostic testing, please bring as much information (e.g. office notes, operative reports) and the diagnostic studies (e.g. xray, MRI films) so that I can most efficiently evaluate your needs and make direct recommendations for your care.
