Achievements

Dr. Larson has earned two engineering degrees (Biomedical and Electrical Engineering) from the University of Southern California. He attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed his General Surgery Internship at Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery training at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. He has been board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons since 1992. Dr. Larson served in the U.S. Army as Chief and Staff Orthopedic Surgeon at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Ft. Campbell, Kentucky for fourteen years. During his 26 year military service, he was deployed to South Korea, Haiti, and Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. Dr. Larson was decorated with numerous military awards and medals including the Order of Military Medical Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, and the Army Commendation Medal along with several others.

Community activities

Dr. Larson and his family are members of Long Hollow Baptist Church, located in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Dr. Larson supports the Salvus Foundation, an organization which provides faith based medical care to those who can not afford it.
