My approach to treating patients

Our goal is to be the best: the best doctors by showing compassion for our patients, the best surgeons by mastering the latest technologies, and the best people by striving for optimal health. We help professional athletes achieve success with minimally invasive spine surgery and a complete rehabilitation program. The approach we use to treat athletes, is the same that we use to treat all of our patients. The same dedication and passion that athletes have for their sport, we have for spinal surgery. We live an active, athletic lifestyle and strive for excellence in every aspect of our lives.

Our commitment to be the best starts with spinal surgery. We are leading researchers in the spine field producing articles, books, and lectures. We are experts in minimally invasive surgery, microscopic surgery, computer-assisted image-guided surgery, and artificial disc replacement. Being on the forefront of technology, we help our patients decide the best treatment for them. Because we treat athletes, we are experts in physical rehabilitation. This allows us to help people non-operatively and potentially avoid surgery. If surgery is required, the rehabilitation program maximizes the patients function after surgery.

We expect to play an active role in our community: through general lectures for people with spinal disorders, seminars for physical therapists and athletic trainers, and discussions with doctors and chiropractors. We plan to sponsor and even compete in athletic events such as triathlons and Race for the Cure. We want to help others and ourselves get the most out of life.

Our goal is to create an entity greater than ourselves. We want an active, dynamic practice that helps people enhance their lives. Our strength is spinal surgery and we plan to share this with our community.
