My approach to treating patients

My practice of Orthopaedics is focused entirely on problems of the hip and knee. My care of you as my patient begins with a comprehensive evaluation. This includes the personal attention that is critical to establishing a good working relationship. I take very seriously the responsibility I have to educate you about your condition and the treatment options you have available. I believe that knowledgeable patients make the best decisions about their own treatment. The greatest success can only be achieved when we are working together using the expertise that I have and the commitment to your own health that you have. The "art" of medicine, that I enjoy so much, is matching your needs to the best treatment available that will quickly and safely help you achieve your goals.

I actively pursue continuing education on a regular basis inorder to provide the most comprehensive advanced care. I have extensive training and experience in primary and revision joint replacement surgery, partial joint replacements, minimal incision surgery, arthroscopy of the hip and knee, ligament reconstruction, cartilage restoration techniques, osteotomies, arthritis surgery, treatment of avascular necrosis, and the entire range of non-surgical treatments for orthopaedic problems.
