My approach to treating patients

Each and every patient is seen and treated as an individual with respect and dignity.

My patient's and I review all viable treatment options starting with non-operative measures and if applicable surgical measures. Together, we partner to find the best answer for you.

I am proud to have trained at the University of Washington, one of the foremost orthopedic teaching programs.

I am a better orthopaedic surgeon because of the the years I did full time orthopaedic basic science research and through my participation in the invention, design and development of soft tissue repair related devices designed to improve arthroscopic / minimally invasive surgery.

Orthopedic surgery is a rapidly changing specialty. I have dedicated myself to lifelong learning in order to acquire the knowledge and expertise to stay proficient in my chosen field. To exemplify this commitment to learning, I was re-certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2010, and was certified in the Sports Medicine subspecialty of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery also in 2010.
