My approach to treating patients
Dr. Weissberg prides himself on his conservative and thoughtful approach to orthopedic care.Patients can expect expert care in treating both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic problems.Areas of specialty expertise includes arthroscopic treatment of most shoulder ,knee and ankle problems including meniscal injuries,anterior cruciate tears,rotator cuff tears,impingement syndromes,labral injuries and instability problems.Treatment of routine upper extremity disorders such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome,trigger fingers,tennis and golfer's elbow,tendonitis and fractures are also expertly handled.Most of his surgeries are performed at the friendly state of the art Melville Surgery Center.Dr. Weissberg treats neck and back disorders in a non-surgical manner using conservative modalities.Additionally the practice cares for children and adults of all ages with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. The office is staffed by an excellent and friendly team,each of whom is dedicated to provide assistance for you in a helpful,professional and confidential manner. Dr. Weissberg has been the team physician for the Huntington High School football team for over 20 years. Additionally he has been the team physician for the Northport and Walt Whitman High School teams over the past 5 years.Being active in the local community sports programs has been an emotionally rewarding pastime for Dr. Weissberg.
