My approach to treating patients

My goal is to provide the highest quality of personal medical care in a warm, compassionate environment. I treat each patient as an individual with unique needs. Most often non-surgical pain management is best for you. When surgery is indicated, I then offer the most effective treatment for your condition. I strive to remain on the "cutting edge" of spine surgery. All parts of the spine, including the neck (cervical spine), upper back (thoracic spine) and lower back (lumbar spine) are addressed. The range of problems treated includes the following: soft tissue and muscular ligament pain, disc herniations, disc degeneration, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, spinal instability, scoliosis, kyphosis, myelopathy, infections, tumors, and fractures Our competent professional staff of nurses, technicians and support personnel work hand in hand with the medical staff to ensure each person's visit to Midwest Orthopaedics / Illinois Bone & Joint Institute is as pleasant and productive as possible. The orthopaedic surgeons on our staff are all Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. When you visit our practice, you'll meet a team of professionals that includes doctors, nurses and administrative staff who are focused on you and your care. You have the option to select an individual physician from our group to provide you with the majority of your patient care. Should you have an immediate problem and your doctor is not available, another physician in the group will be available to assist you until your own doctor returns. Our medial service can be reached 24 hours a day. With a focus on meeting the needs of each patient, my practice also employs a wide range of orthopaedic, allied health and administrative experts. Highly trained (orthopaedic nurses; physical therapists; physician assistants; etc.) stand ready to participate in providing you with the highest quality of care. Helpful (patient billing/managed care specialists; other office staff; etc.) are also available to answer your questions, schedule appointments, etc.
