Other staff in my practice
No orthopaedic surgeon practices without the support of a caring and professional team, and I am certainly no exception! I am pleased to introduce you to my highly trained and eager treatment team that makes everything possible. Together, we are committed to providing the best possible orthopaedic care to our rapidly growing patient family.
My five person staff is committed to giving you the best customer service possible. Each member of my staff is a professional with experience in working in a physician's practice. My staff and I work as a team for you - we are all here to answer any types of questions you may have. Here is a list of my staff, along with their titles:
Aimee Cousins - Practice Manager. Aimee has been my practice manager since we began the practice in January 2000.
Alia Braaten - Nurse. Alia has been working alongside me Since April 2001.
Debbie Kettering - Medical Assistant. Debbie has been with me since September 2000. Debbie will greet you when you check in and facilitates all workmen's compensation visits.
Merrilee Runyon - Medical Assistant. Merrilee has been here since I opened in January 2000. Along with many other responsibilities, Merrilee will meet with you to answer questions regarding pre- and post-op care, should surgery be necessary in your journey back to health.
Wendy Woodbridge - Medical Receptionist. Wendy has been with our practice since August 2002. Wendy will arrange appointments for you and help to guide you through our information gathering process.
When you enter my practice Wendy Woodbridge and Debbie Kettering will greet you, take your insurance information and let our other team members know that you are here for your appointment. When you leave the waiting area and come to one of the examination rooms, my nurse, Alia, will visit with you to gather information regarding the reason for your visit. Alia will talk with you about how you sustained your injury, what other physicians you may have seen because of your injury, and what your thoughts are regarding the injury. Aimee Cousins is my practice manager, and has been so since the origination of Genesis Orthopedics. Aimee is available to speak with you regarding any questions or concerns you may have regarding just about anything related to my practice individually, or healthcare in general.
