Community activities
My practice is in the same community in which I grew up and now currently live. I take great pride in providing care for the members of my community, and I actively seek to give back to my community. I do this through community outreach programs which encompass not only the care of athletes, but also the education of the community's members. In addition to providing care for several local high schools and athletic organizations, I frequently speak at school, church, and civic functions on such topics as "prevention of sports injuries," "treatment of osteoarthritis and cartilage injury," "issues in the aging athlete," and "sports injuries unique to women." I also write columns for the Mirror newpapers and the Daily Tribune.
