The physicians at Orthopaedic Specialists of Northwest Indiana offer a unique approach utilizing experience, judgment and expertise to provide high-quality, orthopedic care. They are dedicated to diagnosing and treating virtually any problem of the bones, joints, cartilage and ligaments. Patients receive highly specialized treatment options with physician and patient working as a team toward the goal of full recovery.
Our surgeons are board certified and offer focused patient care based on sub-specialty fellowship training in both upper extremity and spine surgery.
Dr. Nicole Einhorn is a specialist in hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder surgery.
Dr. Nitin Khanna and Dr. Dwight Tyndall are fellowship trained spine care specialists.
Dr. Louis Gluek and Dr. Joseph Hecht are general orthopaedic surgeons with advanced technical training in Mini-Incision Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery. Patients who have this surgery have a smaller scar and recover more quickly than traditional joint replacement surgery.
Physical rehabilitation is an integral part of successful recovery. With this in mind, on-site therapists and physicians design individual exercise programs for each patient so that optimum recovery is achieved as soon as possible. Our Rehabilitation Center staff includes physical and occupational therapists and a Certified Hand Therapist.
We have a spacious facility that includes exam and casting rooms, two x-rays suites, and a large fully equipped Rehabilitation Center. Our office is conveniently located 45 minutes from Chicago and only 5 minutes south of I-80/94 just west of Calumet Ave. at 730 45th Ave. in Munster, Indiana. Call us at 219-924-3300.
