My approach to treating patients

Dr. Charlton offers the latest surgical and nonsurgical treatment for sports related and degenerative joint conditions. Shoulder procedures include arthroscopic labral repair, arthroscopic double row rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic biceps tenodesis, and arthroscopic surgery for shoulder separation injuries. Knee procedures include the latest in arthroscopic anatomic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. He also performs open surgery including total shoulder replacement, reverse shoulder replacement, and total knee replacement. In the office visit a high priority is placed on doctor-patient communication regarding the diagnosis and treatment options so patients have a thorough understanding of the problem and treatment plan. In the operating room Dr. Charlton uses the latest surgical techniques and has a particular interest and ability in arthroscopic shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee surgery.
